These Easy Touch LuerLock syringe barrels come individually sealed in a quantity of 100 per box. Syringes can either be Luer Lock or non-Luer lock. Non-Leur Lock are also referred to as Luer Slip. The difference is that the Luer Lock syringe allows a needle to be twisted onto the tip and then locked in place. All detachable needles have two small tabs on the outside that fit into this thread, so that they can be fitted to luer lock syringes. Needles are sold separately. Luer Lock is an industry standard tapered termination utilized by most syringe manufacturers including medical hypodermic syringes. Luer Lock needles are common because their design is controlled by a series of universal standards which guarantees compatibility between manufacturers. That being said not all luer lock needles are created equally.
